Indicating that an event is "in maintenance"

If the problem that caused an event is being dealt with, you can indicate that the event is "in maintenance", in the event list. The Maintenance priority works in conjunction with the Maintenance event list filter.

About this task

You can indicate that an event is in maintenance only if you have permission to do so.

To indicate that selected events in the event list are "in maintenance", click Alerts > Prioritize > Suppress/Escalate > Maintenance. The events are displayed in the In Maintenance monitor box.

To remove the "in maintenance" status from selected events, click Alerts > Prioritize > Suppress/Escalate > Normal.
